Consumer Healthcare Products (CHP) Australia announces its newly confirmed Board Chairperson and Directors following yesterday's Annual General Meeting.

New Board Directors confirmed at the AGM:

• Alison Holland, Head of Consumer – OTC, Aspen Pharmacare Australia
• Charmaine England, Managing Director, Johnson & Johnson Consumer Health Pacific
• Anish Patel, Area General Manager, GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare Australia

New Board Directors appointed to fill skills-based vacancies following the AGM:

• Phil Lynch – Independent Director 
• Dr Aniss Chami, CEO, Vitex Pharmaceuticals
• David Rankine, Regional Director ANZ - Health, RB

Phil Lynch was also appointed Board Chairperson following the retirement of outgoing Chairperson Lindsay Forrest.

Lindsay congratulated Phil on his appointment and wished him well as he takes on the role of Chairperson of CHP Australia, noting his previous involvement as a director and treasurer of CHP Australia.

On behalf of the Board and CHP members, the new Board Chairperson thanked Lindsay Forrest for his years of commitment and service to CHP Australia.

Congratulating the newly elected Directors, incoming Chairperson Phil Lynch expanded on his ambitions for the nonprescription medicines industry and future of self-care;

• Andrew Jenkin (Deputy Chair) Managing Director, iNova Pharmaceuticals
• Alan Oppenheim - Managing Director, Ego Pharmaceuticals
• Stephen Walker - General Manager ANZ Consumer Healthcare, Sanofi-Aventis Healthcare
