The Australian Self-Medication Industry (ASMI) Board last month appointed Jonathan Biddle, VP Asia/Pacific Prestige Consumer Healthcare and General Manager Care Pharmaceuticals, to the Board and welcomed Sanofi as a new Ordinary Member.
ASMI is the peak industry body that represents the manufacturers and distributors of consumer healthcare products. This includes sponsors of over-the-counter (OTC) and complementary medicines, as well as related businesses that support the industry.
"Jonathan Biddle will bring a breadth of experience and depth of knowledge to the Board at a time of exciting change and opportunity for the industry," said Lindsay Forrest, Chair of the ASMI Board.
Care Pharmaceuticals is a leading and innovative consumer healthcare company first established in Australia in 1986 with their Australian office based in Sydney.
"The Board has been overseeing a number of changes at ASMI over the past year, with more to come in 2019, to ensure that we continually improve and adapt to the ever-changing healthcare landscape."
Mr Forrest also welcomed Sanofi to ASMI.
