CHP Australia emphasises consumer safety in submission to allergies and anaphylaxis inquiry

4 November 2019 –

Today Consumer Healthcare Products (CHP) Australia’s submission to the Standing Committee on Health, Aged Care and Sport's inquiry into allergies and anaphylaxis was published.

As the industry association representing manufacturers and distributors of consumer healthcare products, which includes nonprescription medicines, CHP Australia sought to provide information and comment on existing medicines safety regulations, responsible labelling practices, improving heath literacy, and the value of access to medicines as it relates to Australians affected by allergy and anaphylaxis.

Our members recognise the unique needs of consumers affected by allergy and anaphylaxis, and we look forward to collaborating productively with the relevant stakeholders throughout this process and beyond.
